Press Release
Groundbreaking was held on March 27, 2008 for the new deMoya Professional Plaza to be built at 403 Hollywood Blvd. just to the north of Fort Walton Beach High School. The new Office Park will consist of two buildings. The south building will contain the new pediatric dentistry office of Margherita de Moya, DDS, the new psychiatry office of Dr. Victor de Moya and two additional tenant suites. A second building to the north will consist of six tenant suites offering approximately 1300 SF each.
The new buildings will be single story consisting of a combined area of approximately 14,450 square feet. The office suites for lease will remain unfinished until tenant requirements are determined. Jim Dowling, AIA, project architect, noted that each building will have a standing seam metal roof, painted cementitious lap siding with a continuous perimeter brick base below the windows. The office park is a design-build project with the team of D. L. Curtis Construction and Kendrick David Dowling Architects.
According to Damian Curtis, general contractor, the project is scheduled to complete by the end of 2008 with new tenant offices available early 2009.
